I’ve been too busy preparing for my book’s release to read much this month, but the three books I finished were really good. I’d started and dropped about seven others, and I’m excited to get back to reading in October.

Yesteryear, Caro Claire Burke

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

‘No one preys on you if you are the monster.’

This novel is crazy. It’s worth going into it blind, so I highly recommend it.

The Somewhat Wicked Witch of Brigandage, C. M. Waggoner

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

‘She didn’t add that a witch’s word was her bond (except when she was lying).

‘It was important to not allow the menfolk to come to the mistaken impression that you cared about the things that interested them.’

Such a fun cosy fantasy. To my absolute delight, I actually found this book funny and liked the protagonist.

The Faraway Inn, Sarah Beth Durst

⭐️⭐️⭐️

As always, this author’s novels are full of cuteness and magic. I liked this little escape into a whimsical inn with all sorts of odd guests.

A Precious Curse, Morren Aconite

I wrote this one, so I’m biased, but if you need something to overload on dark autumn vibes, you should check it out.

If you do, please share your thoughts on Goodreads or Amazon.
